I TRIMMED MY NAILS
and painted them.
of course you can't really tell here becaused i messed with the colour and stuff. but they're a shiny bronze. and i absolutely love it.
what i love AS WELL are semestral breaks. it gives me ample time to recharge and get ready for the new semester, and in this case, year 3 in NP.
holy smokes.
well, life goes on. if things don't work the way it was planned then we adapt. (as i always like to say) because adapting, is what humans do best.
(more pictures throughout the week, esp from the stake youth rehearsals. heh heh. )
Something Worth The Thought

ACHIEVEMENTS
As I was taking these pictures for my elder brother and my thoughts drifted somewhat to what amanda told me one time about the BYU admission essay thing she had to write, that had to do with accomplishments you've had in the past 4 years. And i though that it was something worth thinking about!
Without going into the details, I believe that my greatest accomplishment in the past 4 years is personal growth. I'm not trying to say that i'm holier-than-thou kinda thing.. I'm just grateful that certain events have occured in my life that has made me a better person as a whole, that's it! I have had several experiences that has helped me grow mentally and spiritually, some of which are a little too personal to speak of.. online, at least!
One particular thing I've learnt is that standards are really there to help you, and sometimes you won't fully understand it until you grow older, where you really put theory into practice.
I hope that there are things that you feel that you've accomplished in the past 4 years, and are worth mentioning. Since today's sunday, in the midst of the festive hustle, perhaps take 5 minutes to think about it?
(:
My Cube Family
Friday, February 12, 2010 8:26 AM
You won't believe how tough it is to clone yourself, on your own. this one really took me a while to do, but i really like how it came out (:
The newest addition (it's 12.45am saturday morning now.. and i almost typed "edition". haha!) to the cube family. my pretty mirror blocks cube. I'm not confident enough to take an average timing now but i'll probably try it out during the holidays.
And.. there we go! Talking about families. Chinese new year's here, again. Renuions, relatives, the lou hei thing, hongbaos, and sinfully evil CNY food. If you need help getting back to shape i'd recommend you hop over to wenjie's fitness blog. he's pretty good! haha. (and wj i hope you're reading this.) I might post something up this sunday, but it sorta depends how the day unfolds. Till then,
Happy chinese new year guys.
*Lydia the 2AM songs are so good!! joahyo! thanks super much (:

Thanks to alfred phang i've decided to get some shots with the super special way of doing things (: and just fyi, this isn't the aftermath of photoshop (Mum and sam are my witnesses!). I couldn't wait till sunday to post this up so.. enjoy.
If you can tell, the thing on the right is actually the back of a bus. the four red hearts that make out a square are the tail lights that mark out the bus. cute eh?

I risked my life for this shot: stood on the divider of the road and got this shot. kids, please don't try this.
This Is Life, You See.
