CHILLAX

NP photography club's first meeting was just over on the 27th.

174 club shirt orders. a lot!

it's such a blessing to have a supportive and cohesive committee.

can't wait for our first outing on the 16th of May (:

yay for videography which is now glued to photography club forever!

just as i thought we could take a breath of air,

there's more planning to do this friday as we head down to botanic gardens.

not much of "work" though. i call it fun. haha.

after about 20 shots, i am VERY X10 satisfied with this one.
it's a relatively sharp picture and is now my wallpaper (:

if you want a copy for your wallpaper or anything i can send a higher resolutioned one to you.

we had journal making activity today. they're so awesome. all thanks to our YW pres sis charlene who got materials from US!!

I SPENT TWO HOURS ON THIS.

i did up the borders from one of the "trial" pictures of the first picture up there. it totally reminds me of the borders they have in the zoo. TOTAL OWNAGE.

school is starting for kandace.

we get to choose our own timetables in business studies and i chose class 06.

last night i just found out that they posted me to class 11.

owell, stay alert and ADAPT. haha!

as you can see, it was really tough getting a decent view, for starters.

yes i WAS spraying shots but i couldnt help it.. half the time there were hands and arms and body guards and who ever sitting there killing the picture. it's kidna funny though.

but i managed to. phew!

and more signing..

and ok this is the last picture i have of him.

i learnt how to do that rounded edges thingy. it's so tricksy!

the un-signed album

(which reminds me, i havent taken a picture of the signed version!)

a FAN holding a fan. haha.

i'm assuming this is the back cos the front is always the one with the face.

the.. er.. sorta "front row-ish" seats for those with albums ONLY. those right at the back have a metal barrier to segregate.

can you imagine having a HUGE banner with your face in a foreign shopping mall?
how cool is that.

mm yes very cool. the album cover picture isnt very flattering, but the huge on inside is guuuuuuhd. (good)

and ok. prized pictures coming up. thank goodness my zoo collegue albert lent me his 18-200mm lens, if not for it i'd DEFINITELY won't be able to get such smashing pics.

if you didnt manage to get any good shots of david, you can always get a good one from that.. hmm.. face.. behind. haha. or take a video and PRINT SCREEN!

oh yes, i forgot to let you know.

i'm sorta "protective" over my archuleta pictures cos it was really hard getting them:

1. i wasn't in the best angle.

2. some tall guy pushing and shoving beside me

3. i'm short, tip-toeing the whole time

4. the camera's flipping heavy (i got a neck ache yesterday)

5. other fans are sticking their digicams in the air

6. david's flying around the stage

7. auto focus is not that fast

8. and someone was screaming so loud behind me, i think it almost shattered my camera.

so just let me know if you're saving a picture because it will make me happy (:

say hi to my new wallpaper.

for all of you who dont know, (where have you been???)

mum and i went to see david archuleta at iluma (bugis) and i managed to get his autograph on his album. they only allowed one person below the stage per album. mum let me go in (i owe her so much) and get some pictures at the same time.

i met this really nice girl called tracy and her sis michelle. they're so cool! michelle couldnt go in too so mum and michelle chilled while tracy and i got our albums signed.

we only got 5 seconds to talk to him (while he signed)

so i was like "hi david i'm lds!!"

then he was like "yay, CTR!"

haha then i gave him a high five.

i love mormonads.
they're concise and carry meaningful messages.

i stumbled on this 38 second mormonad video.
it's basically a normal poster with dimmension: there's narration and movement.. if you get what i mean.
brings a whole new outlook to mormonads.

you should go check it out for yourself if you want

it just might be the best 38 seconds of your day.

IDLE

being idle is one of the worst state of mind that anyone can be in.

it's not stone-ing, it's not relaxing, it's being idle.

to me, being idle mean loafing around and not doing anything productive or useful.

i can still remember after my O levels and my december holiday,

i though i'd "relax" my way until poly started..

but i got so idle and bored and so close to the dumps that i needed to get a job and keep my mind working and occupied.

call me mad, but i actually enjoy rushing off from one place to another.. i truely do. it makes me feel like my day is more productive.

well, institue today was really good. enjoyed the lesson very very much!

"Make Commitment And Change On A Daily Basis"

that was one neat point that bro. kirk downs brought to light and i found quite interesting. like you know how we all make (of not at all) new year's resolutions?? but to get to those goals, we should be setting daily goals and commiting ourselves to constantly improve ourselves DAILY..

i'm reminded of a personal progress value experience that has us focus on one christ-like quality and work towards it for a certain period of time. it did give more direction to life. well.. busy week ahead.. i'll see you when i see you!
