NOT GUILTY. (haha)
hi friends, i'm happy to announce that we've (the LIM FAMILY) finally gotten the tripod that has been long anticipated for, aaaaand, at a pretty good price actually! (insert big smily face) i'm wondering what i'll start shooting next with the tripod at hand.
in the meantime, i'm working (cos they called me back to help them, not like i have nothing better to do), got a law project, life management skills project, macro econs presentation, as well as macro econs e-learning assignments to finish. on top of that, gotta go for "songs of the sea" in sentosa soon (which isn't classified inder "work"), ward dinner on the 31st (to make outselves feel better for not having a christmas partay), stake new year's eve youth dance half an hour after the dinner starts (yes, on the same day).. and a whole lot of little shabiz to take care of.
sam shared this little thingy with me the other day. it was totally random.. but very cool.
"it is better to fail with honor than to succeed by fraud."
honesty is more than keeping your integrity, it's like earning the respect. well at least that's what i think.
have a great day ahead (:

say hi to the new member of the "CUBE" family. (i might name her, but.... the rest ain't got names yet. if you have a suggestion do let me know!)
it's alright to be different, especially when so many out there do not live the same standards as those found in The Strength of Youth. through my years in the youth program i've learnt that rationalizing with yourself is very very dangerous. whether it be in language, media, modesty.. it is so important to keep as far away to the edge as possible. saying," oh well.. maybe a little $&^%#$^ words in this song is fine, since the beat is so good" or "this show just has one bad scene. i can get my friends to ask me to look away."speaking of which, recently there has been a few cool movies coming out, one of which is "yes man" which looks good. and, jim carrey's in it! then i saw the trailer. pg - sexual refernces. i was like"aw man...". later that day josh had gone out with a group of army friends. they decided to watch "yes man". he called home (thank goodness) to let my mum know he'll be coming home later than expected and told him they were going to watch the show. i let him know the rating and he said he'll let his friends know that he'll head home. my mum was trying to 'console' him, thinking that he was disappointed but he said," mum, it's not an issue."
peace out friends (:

One of my best friends, "THE CUBE"
"Today, lovely homes provide rooms for eating, rooms for sleeping. playrooms, sewing rooms, television rooms; but no room for Christ. Do we experience a pang of conscience as we recall His own words," foxes have holes, and the birds in the air have nests; but the Son of Man hath not where to lay His head.My brothers and sisters, I know that it is the desire of each of us to make time in our lives and room in our hearts for our Savior. No matter how successful we've thus far been at accomplishing such a goal, I'm confident we would all wish to do better."- Pres Thomas S. Monson----------------------------------------------------------------that was one of my favourite part of the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir was fantabulous, as usual. their singing is really calm and relaxing. i like it a lot. it helps me destress (: ok my mum shared this with me yesterday:Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.i think it makes sense. share it with someone today!

kidsworld! (i'm more used to calling it "childrens' world though.)the zoo had 8 mil set aside for this baby, but they ended up pumping a whopping 11 MILLION into this single renovation.(i personally think that's quite a lot.) i specially too time off my study study to post these pictures up.eagerly anticipating for thursday to come (also, come to an end), friday and saturday. sunday's mum's birthday so we're celebrating on saturday.

entrance to kidzworld.
this pony is called "candy". the keepers tell me about her (only because our names ave similar intonation) but i've never really had the time to go down to say hi.
jackson! he's funny. he was like," eh eh take a picture of me". hahah! (you can also see him at the background of the previous picture.)
i don't really know who this is, but... it's a pony. HAHA.

HAHA. this is one of the funniest set of pictures ever taken with my camera. i took like a sneaky shot of hyrum (like just off my hip kinda shot) but he noticed that i took a picture cos of the sound.then he just started spamming the button while myra and i just laughed. it was hilarious!he took like 12 shots, some were blurry so these are the good ones. enjoy.

Friday, December 5, 2008 5:56 AM

when i was getting there i saw a girl do some mad gymnastic stunt thingy. this guy was gnna go next. it was about 6 plus and the sun was setting. really cool stuff.
you know sometimes when you OVERTHINK a situation and you tell youself that you can't do it? i just did that (which is bad). but i found out that my mind can actually get quite creative (which is good). problem solved.
sometimes things really aren't as bad as they seem.

as i was saying, after LJS we spotted this really really cute girl. myra asked permission from her maid for some pictures. she gladly accepted.
she was just sitting there. adorable!
i sat in the little thingy and suddenly she was pushing me round and round. i was amused that she was amused. haha.
another random kid. she peeked her head up and went like," hello!", laughed, and ran away. i'm not really sure how i caught it too.
lydia, just minder her own business (:
ruth, giving the very fierce face!
myra and samantha!

i looooove this picture of sam. unfortunately, the picture would have been much nicer, but someone's HAND was in it. *cough cough* haha! but still nice (:

i've decided to smash key camp pictures in various collages, simply cos there are too many and would lag your com big time.FASTFORWARD >>>after we left, zephyra and sethrina went back with their family, sam, myra, lydia and ruth and i decided to eat at LJS in vivo and then went to play at the kids' place (oh sick i forgot that one came first! got some pictures from that place too.) then went up to this place.the following pictures are 100% not photoshopped in anyway.
myra messing with the water. NO SWIMMING (but walking, yes??)
holy smokes jump shots with Mr. Christmas Tree.
what's next: the cutest kid in vivo.
