shoot.this round of shots were eee.not nice.we're supposed to capture the ESSENCE of NP LIFE.very tough.so i'm just gonna post some random pictures that were taken while attempting this daunting task.
this is a HUGE fan at the business block. i wonder if they even use it. haha.

vesak day.
very restless day. supposed to look through some notes but couldnt bring myself to open the 'IT in Business' textbook.
scary stuff.
sam (younger bro) and mum and i went to the zoo for some ice cream just for fun.
besides, it's just 10 minutes away from home.
on public holidays there's a special bus route to the zoo from woodlands.
went to the zoo, saw all my zoo friends GETTING $7.50 PER HOUR
got an ice cream each for me sam and mum.
too bad i didnt take a picture of the ice cream.
long time no EAT. haha.
there's a new birth in the zoo!
a baby goat. her name's HAZEL. so cute.
she's only 1 week old! so fluffy(: the goat was like BAAHHHHH! BAAAHH!

on may 3 we went for a photography club outing to little india.i THOUGHT i had a theme in mind (we were supposed to)but it didnt really work.so i had to resort to taking EVERYTHING i saw,which wasn't really ideal.it just doesnt really work that way you know.so that explains the no-linked pictures. we went throught everyone's pictures today, may 16.mine has loads of flaws.we submitted 10 each, but these are the nicer ones i suppose.the others are too gross to be posted up.one big problem with my pictures are that they don't say anything.like.. they dont tell a story. you look at it and you might go like. OOH. NICE.but that's really all it is.like what the guy holding this course (terence) said."they're just pretty pictures. postcard pictures. wallpapers.. they don't tell you any story."need to improve!
one of the more common sights in little india. peeling paint, older buildings. this looks a little chinese-y-ish right??
we swinged by one of the many temples there. these bells are at the door. as you can see, they're all worn down and they look silved. the original ones were gold. they all sweep ther hands across the row of bels when they enter and exit. i wonder what's the significance.
spotted this sight as we were walking around. check out the wall, then check out the white linen. what a contrast.
oh ya. this one was taken in the temple as well. it's some center thingy.

mothers' day celebration.didn't really get to take any pictures DURING the celebration, only after.our skit was pretty awesome.thanks to edlina for her fantabulous idea!(the mother of 16 kids - haha.)
